Marking a momentous milestone for the civil engineering community, the University of the Cordilleras (UC) College of Engineering successfully conducted its Board Operations on September 26 and 27, 2026, standing in full solidarity with UCian examinees taking the Civil Engineer Licensure Examination (CELE).

On Day 1, dedicated faculty members and student leaders gathered early at the exam venues to send off the examinees with care packages, motivational support, and warm cheers. The presence of the academic community served as a steady anchor of encouragement, inspiring the future civil engineers to face the test with confidence and composure.

By Day 2, two intense days of determination, focus, and technical problem-solving came to a victorious close. As the examinees emerged from the test sites, they were greeted with heartfelt cheers celebrating their endurance, sacrifices, and unwavering dedication. Completing the licensure exam marks the culmination of years of rigorous academic training, and the entire UC community takes immense pride in every candidate who bravely stepped forward to pursue their professional license.
This unified support system underscores the commitment of the UC College of Engineering to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. By nurturing students throughout their academic journey up to the pinnacle of their entry into the workforce, the university advances SDG 4 (Quality Education) through holistic mentorship and institutional care. Equipping these future professionals to enter the industry directly drives SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure), as these licensed civil engineers will soon design, manage, and build sustainable public infrastructure. Finally, the collaborative efforts of faculty, student officers, and alumni throughout the board operations demonstrate SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals), illustrating how a strong, unified support network empowers young professionals to achieve their lifelong career goals.
