Visitors who stopped by the UC MEXES booth were treated to hands-on project showcases, interactive hangouts, free sticker giveaways, and exciting prize draws. The dedication of the officers and student volunteers shone through as they demonstrated what it means to blend technical creativity with an active student lifestyle.
ICpEP.SE – UC Chapter: Intense Gaming and Core Memories

Over at the Institute of Computer Engineers of the Philippines Student Edition (ICpEP.SE – UC Chapter) booth, the energy was pure excitement. The CpE squad hosted intense gaming face-offs and created a hub for spontaneous, core-memory-worthy moments. Freshmen dropped by to test their skills, vibe with the community, and experience the warm, chaotic, and welcoming spirit of the computer engineering family.
IECEP UC SC: Sparking Connections Through Innovation

The Institute of Electronics Engineers of the Philippines – University of the Cordilleras Student Chapter (IECEP UC SC) brought hands-on technology to the forefront with an interactive circuit game created by ECE students. By transforming complex hardware into a fun, challenge-based experience, the booth sparked genuine curiosity among attendees, proving that engineering innovation often begins with a simple question: “How does this work?”
PSSE-UCSC: Matching the Energy of the UC-Verse

Even with the booming gym crowds and roaring atmosphere, the Philippine Society of Sanitary Engineers – University of the Cordilleras Student Chapter (PSSE-UCSC) brought unmatched enthusiasm to welcome freshmen to the “UC-Verse.” Their booth became a focal point for meaningful conversations, shared laughter, and engaging interactive games, giving incoming students an insider look into the vital world of sanitary engineering.
A Strong Start to A.Y. 2026–2027
Freshies Day 2026 highlighted the strength and unity of UC’s student engineering societies. By bridging technical expertise with inclusive community building, these organizations have set an inspiring benchmark for the new academic year—ensuring every freshman feels empowered, connected, and ready to thrive.
Beyond campus orientation, Freshies Day 2026 directly mirrored the principles of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals by bridging student engagement with sustainable, technical innovation. By providing interactive, peer-led learning and encouraging curiosity beyond traditional lecture halls, the event supported SDG 4 (Quality Education). The hands-on project showcases—ranging from circuit design to mechatronics—aligned with SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure) by fostering inventive thinking and technical literacy early in students’ academic careers.
